علی استخر، جوان ۲۵ سالهای بود که در جریان جنبشهای اعتراضی در شهر اصفهان جان خود را فدا کرد. در تاریخ ۱۹ دیماه ۱۴۰۴، او هدف شلیک مستقیم نیروهای امنیتی جمهوری اسلامی قرار گرفت و بر اثر اصابت گلوله به سرش جان باخت. نام علی استخر به عنوان یکی از «جاویدنامان» میهن در حافظه جمعی ثبت شده است. او در جریان وقایعی که از آن با عنوان «انقلاب شیر و خورشید» یاد میشود جان سپرد و فداکاریاش به نمادی از ایستادگی جوانان در مسیر آزادی تبدیل گشت.
